Newspaper Articles of the Rollout Ceremony:
What would have been major front page news in the Toronto newspapers in the
Saturday Editions ended up being on page five (5) of both the Glode and Mail
and the Toronto Star due to the successful launch of Sputnik by the U.S.S.R.
on the same day of the rollout. The Globe and Mail did have a picture
of the Arrow on page one overshadowed by the huge headline of "RUSSIA
LAUNCHES FIRST SATELLITE".
