FS4 | Harvard Mk 4 RCAF242, Harvard Mk II, NA-44, Yale. The Jeep The NA-44 created as a Light Bomber demonstrator version of the Harvard. This aircraft was sold to the RCAF in August 1940, and it became the envy of the pilots of "ordinary" Harvards because of the performance from its 890hp engine. The colours depicted here were probably the most lavish ever seen on a wartime Canadian aircraft, but this is how it looked while serving as a senior officers "hack" at Trenton. The Yale was a progenitor of the Harvard, main difference externally being the fixed undercarriage, and lesser performance than later Harvards. The aircraft depicted here is "3350" which saw service at 1 SFTS Borden in 1941 and 1942. Harvard Mk II "AJ583". It served with 31 SFTS Gimli, and was retired from service in June 1960. Harvard Mk 4 "20242". "242" served at Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan from 1952 through to 1967. Kenneth J Kerr |

FSX | AT-6 353rd Fighter Group. This is a repaint for the payware A2A Simulations AT6 Texan. This repaint depicts the restored AT-6D 44-81506, owned by David Nock in the U.K. registered as G-TDJN, and based at Halfpenny Green airfield. This particular aircraft was originally built for the USAAF in 1944, and in 1951 it was one of a hundred AT-6D's loaned to the RCAF, where it was operated until 1953. The aircraft was then acquired by the Panamanian AF, where it remained until 1967 when it was imported back into the U.S. at which time it was registered N7231C. David Nock acquired the aircraft in 2009 and had the US-based company Midwest Aero Restorations (noted for their authentic Mustang restorations) perform a full restoration on the aircraft. Completed in 2011, the aircraft won the Reserve Grand Champion WWII award at Oshkosh that year. The aircraft was restored in the authentic markings of AT-6D 43-13048, which was operated as a station hack by the 353rd Fighter Group during WWII, based at Raydon, England. The aircraft was imported into the U.K.in 2012, where it was re-registered as G-TDJN. Both U.K.and U.S. registration options are provided with this repaint. By John Terrell. |

This particular aircraft was assigned to the RCAF during WWII, as FS728, and was later sold to the Netherlands AF in 1947 where it was coded B-104. The aircraft was first sold into the civilian market in 1970, becoming PH-SKL in the Netherlands, and would later be sold to Britain as G-BAFM, then to Switzerland as HB-RCP, and finally to Germany in 2001, becoming D-FRCP.
