X-Plane 8 And 9 Noorduyn Norseman. The Noorduyn Norseman is a Canadian single-engine bush plane designed to operate from unimproved surfaces. Originally introduced in 1935, the Norseman remained in production for almost 25 years with over 900 produced. A number of examples remain in commercial and private use to this day. Norseman aircraft are known to have been registered and/or operated in 68 countries throughout the world and also have been based and flown in the Arctic and Antarctic regions. FS2004 ACOF Norseman on Floats. The Noorduyn Norseman was built from 1935 until 1959. They have been used all over the world in both civil and military roles. The famous US band leader and composer Glen Miller disappeared in a Noresman over the English Channel durring WWII. They have been used primarily for bush planes on both wheels and floats with most of them being used in Canada. The Noorduyn company continues to this day in Montreal building aircraft interiors. Made with FSDS 2.6. Includes custom panel bitmap by Ken Mitchel. Includes three paint schemes, Canadian, USAF and Bush Flying Unlimited. Full moving parts including water rudders and opening doors. Features a fully funtional VC. Dynamics based on Fred Banting's DH Beaver. By Brian Gladden.

FS98 Noorduyn Norseman RCAF on pontoons  This original company was founded in early 1933 by Mr.R.B.C. Noorduyn and a successor company called Noorduyn Aviation was created in 1934. A total of 904 aircrafts were built and 38 of them were delivered to the RCAF for training purposes. It proved to be a good freighter for the Canadian North and Alaska. Copyright: Gerru Arzdorf. These are texture files only; prior installation of Brian Gladden's Norseman, filename NORSEFV2.ZIP, is required. Textures will fit float and wheeled version.
