FS98 | Northstar RCAF (DC4M-2 Canadair) The DC-4 was used by the RCAF and was reengined by Canadair using Rolls-Royce Merlin type. It was then called Northstar. They were in service with Air Transport Command from 1947 to 1960. This model aircraft was purchased by the Canadian Armed Forces and were fitted with Rolls-Royce merlin engines at the Canadair Plant in Montreal.
